Can the internal editor be better (e.g. syntax highlighting)?
There are no plans for major improvements of the internal editor. WinSCP is not a text editor; it is a file transfer client. Please use your favourite text editor as an external editor for WinSCP. The internal editor is provided only to allow users to start using WinSCP fully right after installation.
