Re: User gettings error

If it happens with latest version: As temporary workaround to allow uploads, switch off resume support on Transfer tab of Preferences dialog.

Re: User gettings error

Which version of WinSCP are you using? Have you tried the latest one? I hope that this problem was solved in version 3.2:
Version 3.2 (#173) August 24th 2003
...
- Uploaded partial file (with .filepart extension) is renamed to target name only after file is closed (SFTP only). This should eliminate problems on servers, where file locking is supported (Windows).
...

If this happens with the latest version, can you setup test account for me?

User gettings error

Below is a message I got from one of my users...

I have been trying to transfer a folder which contains the database and files for a project in N6 (a qualitative database software).

However, I get the following two error messages and have been able to open a project but it does not have any of the documents or previous work. I have gotten similar error messages transfering other files as well. Is there something I am doing wrong that I could change or can I just not use this sftp software to transfer a folder with subfolders and files.

error messages below:

"Transfer was successfully finished, but temporary transfer file D1.filepart could not be renamed to target file name 'D1'."

"Permission denied.
Error code: 3
Error message from server: syserr: Permission denied, file: D:\PoliSci\PolsHome\jwinzer\JOBS2002\Labor Copy\DATABASE\DOCFILES\D1.filepart (en)
Request code: 18"
