Using relative path (from home directory) in Shared Bookmark

Hi All,
I frequently connect a unix box using sevaral user names.
After connecting, I need to CD to user_home/application/log directory to analyze the log each time.

I want to create a Shared Bookmark for all the users' sessions.
Using this book mark, user_1 should go to user_1_home/application/log

Similarly, user_2 should go to user_2_home/application/log

I tried by using $Home/application/log in shared BM, it didn't work.
I also tried ~/application/log, it did't work.

Also tried with application/log , it only works if user is currently in his home directory.

Can anybody help me here?
Thanks in advance.
