You should avoid highlighting the first file. Focus (the rectangle) is just enough (if there's no other selection) to tell WinSCP what file to edit.

Switching between filenames using the keyboard

Hi - I'm running v4.3.5 (Build 1463) using the FTP protocol. When I close out of a file for instance I key in the next file I want to edit and Press F4 however the original file stays highlighted and when I press the spacebar to highlight the new file, the original file also stays highlighted. So consequently when I press F4 it downloads both files for edit. It's kind of an annoying bug because I use the keyboard in Winscp so much as opposed to the mouse.
