Thanks for sharing your opinion with us! We do take user experience of our users very seriously, not only with WinSCP but also with WinSCP.net. We monitor regularly quality of ads shown on our pages and remove adds which could be misleading or confusing. We are sorry to hear that despite all this effort you were still confused :-(

bump. you shouldn't have advertisements on your download page. it is misleading/confusing to your users and opens the door for third parties to attack your users by tricking them into downloading alternate software. this is still occurring on your website as of this morning.

Website malicious advertisement

Website contains malicious advertisement.

Please see your website and notice that under the legitimate download link there is an advertisement (with tiny script indicating such). This is deceptive and malicious to your users.
