Edit files sudo with internal editor?

Hi, I wish to edit the files with the internal built editor in WinSCP. I did notice this post:
https://winscp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=32069#32069
And I did follow the FAQ, but the FAQ. But the FAQ isn't what I am trying to achieve. What I want is not sudo the whole session, but sudo when edit/upload files. This is to prevent when I accidentally delete files. I only want to be able to add or modify files, but never delete them. I do have root access, thus adding sudo to shell doesn't achieve anything, it's just the same as root account. I recommend adding an option for upload separately.

Thanks,
Ted
