No, WinSCP does not do that. It must be your server.

Do you mean that (you believe) it's WinSCP that renames the file?

Hi,

I'm using WinSCP to upload files to a server using the -neweronly switch. What happend is that everytime a file is modified, the last uploaded version is renamed to include date and time in the filename, and then the new one is uploaded.
Is there any way to tell WinSCP to simply overwrite destination files, and not to rename them?
