Re: Invalid Handle, Error Code 9

The State Healthcare Exchange team made a change within their test environment that resolved the issue. They did not share the details of the change, but the problem, is resolved.

I had a support call with the state's team this afternoon. They have clients using WinSCP and I sent them a debug log. Their tech person anticipates needing a day or two to look into it, and I mentioned that you had inquired about a test account. They didn't address that directly during our call, but I'll let you know if I hear anything further from them regarding that.

I'm sorry, I can't get you a test account on the server because it is a state run healthcare FTP site. I've requested support from them and I could inquire about a test account, I'm just not very optimistic that they're going to be very responsive.

Thanks for your report. Can I have a test account on the server?

I should have noted that we successfully connect to the site and can navigate a few different directories. One directory does return an error if navigate into it, but I didn't post the details.

I tried a few different configuration settings as far as SFTP protocol 1 0 6, transfer mode, etc.

Invalid Handle, Error Code 9

I am using WinSCP 5.7.6 Build 5874 on a workstation running Windows 7 Professional. I'm using the GUI.

When attempting to download a file from a vendor's SFTP site, WinSCP returns the following error message in a pop-up:

Copying files from remote side failed
Invalid handle.
Error code: 9
Error message from server: 3575d13e-1fc2-42f4-a514-6235eb81d4c3

We successfully downloaded the same file using Filezilla, but we use WinSCP for automation and would like to resolve this issue and use it for this vendor as well.

Session log is attached.
