Thanks! I didn't test the version you sent, but the newest release (5.9.4) fixes the issue!

I am having similar issues with 5.9.3 (build 7136). I have 3 screens configured as: 2-1-3 where screen #3 is a projector which is usually turned off. When I start WinSCP, it starts on #3 which I can't see - so I use Win-Left hotkey to get the Login window over to #1. After pressing Login, the login-status window opens on #2 in the very lower left corner, then the actual Commander window is hidden and I can't get it to show anywhere. If there is an error, the Login window is sometimes shown again on #2 in the lower left corner.

winscp starts on the wrong monitor in a dual monitor setup

i use a laptop with an external monitor. the external monitor is set to be my primary monitor so that i can run with the laptop closed. the first time i start winscp after a reboot it always starts on the laptop monitor. i have to log on to a site with winscp and then drag it over to the external monitor. after that it always starts on the external monitor until the next reboot
