On the freebsd-questions mailing list there is some speculation that buffer size conflicts are partly to blame.

Bandwidth problem

Hi,

After few test, I see that WinSCP "limit" download speed...

See :
- WinSCP v3.7.6 & v3.8b : max 1400 kbytes/s
- WinSCP v3.6.8 : max 800 kbytes/s
- WinSCP v3.5.0 : max 900 kbytes/s
- but sftp (from OpenSSH) : max 3500 kbytes/s

It's very strange... any idea?

Thanks
