Re: WinScp Messages Should Pop Up Above External Editor

I believe you cannot have one windows of another application to be displayed above another application (editor), unless you display there whole application (WinSCP).

Since WinXP, Windows prohibits applications to popup to front at all. Well it may be turned off, but by default the restriction is on.

If I'm wrong, let me know.

WinScp Messages Should Pop Up Above External Editor

Currently, external editors when used to edit files remotely do not show, when saved, the progress window showing it saving to the remote server. The internal editor does. With the external editor the progress window comes up but it is hidden beneath the window of the external editor.

It would be nice if in the next version there's an option for the progress window and other winscp messages (like disconnect and other error messages)to be displayed above the external window so that if there is a disconnect or a problem with saving it can be known.Otherwise winscp can be disconnected and you never know it and you go on editing the file.
