Re: Issue with an FTP server which deletes Uploads.

Please attach a full log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

Issue with an FTP server which deletes Uploads.

WINSCP 5.1.4

A FTP which is configured to print and instantly delete any Upload kills Winscp..
Winscp seems to reupload the file everytime the ftp deletes it(the Printer involved in this System prints the pdf many times)
i suspect thats a failsave Feature from Winscp for the upload..

From my perspective thats not an intended Usage of Winscp..
but unfortunately i have to use this external Printer Company and they configured their ftp Server that way...

To my question can you identify this Feature? can i deactivate it on my Client?

Thank you very muc for your time.

best regards
Gustav
