I had been using WinSCP fine for a while, but just today I have been trying to download a backup of my site and keep getting the following error message:
Error calculating size of directory '/mnt/b0281e3a/www/themes/garland/'.
Error calculating size of directory '/mnt/b0281e3a/www/themes/garland/minnelli/'.
Error calculating size of directory '/mnt/b0281e3a/www/themes/garland/minnelli/color/'.
Error listing directory '/mnt/b0281e3a/www/themes/garland/minnelli/color'.
Invalid access to memory
I'm on Windows and using apache server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to download a large amount of symlinked files in a directory. The symlinks are to other files below the chroot level of the ftp user, and I can access them via like using a web browser or using command line ftp.
I get the error:
Timeout detected.
Could not retrieve directory listing
Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list
Error listing directory '/batch 1-7'.
Error calculating size of directory '/batch 1-7/'.
I suspect that it is taking too long to report the size of the directory and WinSCP bails? It takes firefox like a few minutes to generate a full directory list of this ftp folder.
I don't know where winscp logs to, but I'd be happy to provide a logfile if you direct me.
