hello.
On my newly installed windows 7, when I installed winSCP,and chose to install in FRENCH, I got the error that the winSCP.FR is NOT configured to work with THIS version of the software (though it is indeed, and it is the version that comes with the default installer) I downloaded a fresh copy of the FRENCH translation, the winSCP.FR, and replaced the old file. did not solve the problem. I tried re-installing a fresh copy of the default soft, still this did not solve the issue. |

What version of WinSCP have you installed? When did you get the error message first time? Yet during installation? For what version did the message claim the .fr file to be?

I would be thankful to you prikryl if you would kindly use two alternative colors for successive posts...... it is really not so obvious where your post starts and where mine ends. I got the error related to the french file on first-run, nothing I remember during setup. the message did not give any specific information about version differences other than a generic message saying that the winscp.fr file is not the right version. voilą |

Quote: I have the same problem trying to use the german version. Is there any solution available? As you can see in the tracker, this was resolved in 4.2.2. _________________ Martin Prikryl |
