UNIX and DOS line termination

When I transfer a DOS text file (CR/LF line termination) from a UNIX system to a Windows system, WinSCP converts the line termination to CR/CR/LF.

(It throws in an extra CR for every line.)

How can I tell WinSCP not to do this?

Re: UNIX and DOS line termination

What version of WinSCP are you using? And what protocol (for SFTP i need also version of the protocol)? Please let me know!

I've hoped I have solved this in WinSCP 3.5 (the latest version):
Version 3.5 (#204) January 14st 2004:
- ...
- File having CR/LF line endings already is not converted, when converting line endings from LF to CR/LF.
Anyway, to avoid this, force binary mode transfer.
