Host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds. Still waiting...

I am getting this error on my Windows 10 (64bit) machine for every SFTP and SCP connection. I can connect but file transfers are very very slow and after some time of doing nothing I get this error message and I have to reconnect. The time can vary from only 3 seconds to up to two minute or so. So it often happens that I open a file, edit it and when saving I get the error. Then I have to close the file, reconnect to the server, open it again and save the file immediately.
It only happens on this machine. With other Windows 7 PCs it works. Also I can use Filezilla without problems. I tried using older WinSCP versions (down to 5.1.X) but it still happens on those old versions. Currently I have installed the version 5.7.7. The error message recommends turning off the option "Optimize connection buffer size". But it doesn't help. No change whatsoever. This makes WinSCP almost unusable...

Following a Debug Log Level 2 from the moment I tried to refresh the view after some time of doing nothing:

What protocol are you using with FileZilla?
Can you show us its log file?

I connected with Filezilla via SFTP, like in WinSCP. According to the log the same thing happens, only that Filezilla doesn't show any error mesage. So I guess it has nothing to do with WinSCP itself. Any ideas what could go wrong on my PC? It works on other machines, but they are in a different network...

Here is the Filezilla log (Verbose):

The other problem is the speed. I can download files with Filezilla with around 5MB via SFTP. When using WinSCP I barely reach 7kb.
What could be the problem here?

Finally after a year of hassle I figured it out..
I have a ASUS ROG Mainboard. And with it comes a software called "GameFirst", which leads to the games get prioritized when it comes to bandwith. Even if no game is playing it somehow restricted SFTP to work correctly. Now I deactivated the software and everything works well. I can upload with about 1MB to our servers and won't get disconnected anymore all the time.

Old thread but maybe someone somewhere stumbles upon it.
