Program exits when connection failed

Hello, i just installed WinSCP and noticed some strange program behaviour.

I created a new session fo my website server and i try to connect to it.
When connection fails, WinSCP will show an error message and then will exit completely.

So i searched for an option to disable this automatic quitting in the settings panel - i didnt find it.

Why is program quitting? It is not helping...

I'd imagine its been designed to do that; PuTTY does the same, even though it would make sense if it didn't as the most natural, likely thing you'll want to do if the connection fails is to try again (changing the configuration first, of course).

Perhaps an option could be added to the settings that brings up the Login dialog up again after an error, or a button on error messages that could be pressed to bring up the login dialog, so the settings can be changed.

Yes, that will do the trich, I am for it! It will be much more easier to maintain if that feature (option as a checkbox) exist.

You should see "reconnect" button on the error message, don't you?

Of course i see that, but reconnecting from this place leads to the same error as before because i cant change connection details on this place, so i have to quit WinSCP in order to modify session details - and that is not uncomfortable.

OK, I'll try to do something with it.

I've noticed that the login dialog will reappear if the Norton Command or Explorer window is open and there is no current session. This can be reproduced by sucessfully logging in, disconnecting the session, then starting a new one. If the login fails, the login dialog reappears under this circumstance. It does not appear to reappear any other time I've tried.
