Auto update and 4x voting not working although I donated many hours ago

I'd like to make use of the promises. I get

If you donate to WinSCP development, your vote will count as four.

when I tried to vote. The software also doesn't allow me to make use of auto-updates, as I apparently didn't donate. Is it also possible to change my mail afterwards?

The automatic updates for your email address seems to be working (as that is automatic). Please try again.

Your forum account has Donor rank and your votes count as four only now (as that it not automatic and it's Easter time).
