Topic "Throttle back transfer bitrate?"

Is there some way I can throttle back the transfer rate frmo my server to my PC? Last night I downloaded my first backup using WinSCP, and it spiked the T1 to over 1500 kbps. I'd really rather have it about half that.

What (if anything) can I do?

Thanks!

Use the slider on the progress window.

I also need to throttle the upload speed and I know I can use the speed slider. However, I have hundreds of files to upload and the slider keeps jumping back to 100% at the beginning of each file transfer. Is there a way to change the speed by default, in preferences? I cannot find that. Thanks.
