Uploading an RPM with SFTP in auto mode leads to have a text

Hi everybody,

Thank you for your great job.

I use WinSCP 3.8.2 on Windows XP SP2.
When I upload a RPM package on a Unix server using SFTP (default value) and auto mode, then WinSCP transfers it in ascii/text mode and not in binary.

It results in corrupted RPM package. It works fine if I force the binary mode transfer in SFTP.

Regards,
xDjibi

What's a filename of the RPM package and what's your file mask for text files?

Filename of the RPM package and text mask

The package name is swengine-2.3-3349.rhel4.php4.i386.rpm and the text mask has been set to :
*.*html; *.htm; *.txt; *.php*; *.cgi; *.c; *.cpp; *.h; *.pas; *.bas; *.tex; *.pl; .htaccess; *.xtml; *.css; *.cfg; *.ini; *.sh; *.xml

So it explains this behavior!!!

Thanx for your reply and sorry for bothering.
