There is an error No 2 thrown "No such file" when attempting to use "~" in the remote side recycle bin path.

In particular, I defined remote trash directory as "~/trash/" or "~usename/trash/". This setting resides in "Advanced Site Settings::Environment::Recycle bin". In both cases it does not work.

Using SFTP. Need more details - let me know.

Hi, the SFTP protocol does not support tilde expansion; it is not a bash shell Smile

http://www.gnu.org/software/bash/manual/html_node/Tilde-Expansion.html

So you need to use the full path to the directory.

By the way just FYI, if you change protocol to SCP I think it might work as SCP seems to understand the meaning of tilde.

Might or might not work for you, SCP is usually a lot slower than SFTP in my experience.

cheers
