Linux Question

I'm using Fedora 9 on a P4 3mhz machine.

I heard that sftp was a secure ftp server and, as I understood it, Winsftp was the substitute, for sftp.

...or was I wrong?

Also, if right, then would I, first, need to install something else in order to get Winsftp to work?

Re: Linux Question

WinSCP is (among other) SFTP client for Windows. Usually you would use it to connect to SFTP server (typically running on Unix/Linux machine) from Windows. Typical Unix/Linux machine already includes SFTP server.
