Hello,
I'd like to save my password when using WinSCP. Therefore I configured WinSCP not to store its configuration data in the registry but in a WinSCP.ini file. Now I encrypted the WinSCP.ini file using Windows XP's EFS (Encrypting File System). I guess it should be safe to save the password now, isn't it? Thanks for your answers! Best regards deltazero |

As long as nobody gets physical access to your machine while you are logged in.
