Hello,
I'd like to save my password when using WinSCP. Therefore I configured WinSCP not to store its configuration data in the registry but in a WinSCP.ini file. Now I encrypted the WinSCP.ini file using Windows XP's EFS (Encrypting File System). I guess it should be safe to save the password now, isn't it? Thanks for your answers!

As long as nobody gets physical access to your machine while you are logged in.
