I tried to upload files to my project web site at sourceforge using WinSCP. I cant connect to the web.sourceforge.net server. When trying SCP, I get:

Code:

According to sourceforge support this is expected (no commands can be executed via web.sourceforge.net).

Then I tried SFTP (which according to sf should work). It didnt. The error:

Is there a way to connect with WinSCP to web.sourceforge.net?

I found a workaround, but I would prefer the direct way.

Workaround:

Connect to shell.sourceforge.net using PuTTY with "create" command
Connect to shell.sourceforge.net using WinSCP and SCP
