automated way to make symlinks?

is there an automated way to make symlinks?

like for example it'd be cool to right click a file/folder click 'copy' and then in another folder right click (on some empty space) and click 'paste symlinks' :P

No. But there's an outstanding request for creating symlinks by drag&drop.
