Topic "WINSCP: Get files based on the file time stamp"

Author Message

How do I "get" files from the ftp servers based on the dates? For example, I need to download only the current files from the server where old files are not cleaned up in timely manner. So to avoid downloading all the files in the folder, I would like to download only the current files by date. Using "Synchransation" is not an option as we don't keep the files in the folder on receiveing end.

Thanks for your help.

You can start with this example on Downloading the most recent file.

Thanks! I was hoping there was a option in get command itself that can be set to do what I wanted. However, after doing some research I've come to realization that ftp is not that smart. I'd have to do what you've suggested.

Thanks again!
