ok this is the command I am working on I am making an auto it script and this is the line im using I need to transfer the file to the main drive with out knowing the drive letter because sometimes we deal with installs on d or e is there a way to do this through the command line with out me having to use a ton of if then statements and what not. /command "open ftp://blahblah.ftp -passive" "get file \directory on main drive\"

Well either you start WinSCP from the drive you want to download to and use drive-less path. Or you may have the drive in environment variable and use it from the script.

Thank you very much and where do I find documentation on using drive-less paths.

Got it used lcd command instead of changing directory so I used "LCD ""\directory\" thanks for the help.
