"Host does not exist" for IPv6 host

Hi,

I have WinSCP 4.3.2 installed on my machine (client). From this machine I'm trying to connect to an IPv6 host using the command line (WinSCP.com). I get an error "Host does not exist".

Using the GUI, I can connect:
<invalid hyperlink removed by admin>

Using the console, I can't:
<invalid hyperlink removed by admin>

What could be the problem?

Also, please can you register on the forum or send me an email, so I can send you development version with the fix for testing?

I've checked with the experimental version and it works! Here is the log (snippet):

Re: "Host does not exist" for IPv6 host

Hi Martin,

Seems like the developmental version you sent isn't portable, or doesn't work the same way on different Operating Systems. When I first reported the issue, I was on Windows XP (you could tell from the screenshots). When I used your developmental version on that machine it worked fine.

However, I copied it (WinSCP.exe) to another machine with Windows 2003 Server installed, used the command:
WinSCP.exe /console /script=TestFile.txt /log=c:\scplog.txt

Copy failed! Below is the log:

After this nothing happened. Will the fully installable version (4.3.3) be free of such issues? Is it because I'm running just the binary (no dll or other files)?
