My Sys Admin Is Riding A Roller Coaster Right Now... And I'm Stuck Here Going Insane

Hi There,
This may seem like a completely ridiculous question, but I'm willing to make a fool of myself :)

Is it possible to move files on the remote server to another directory on the remote server without dowloading them to my local machine and reuploading?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
