It is deliberate, because most people expect mask *.* to match all files even if there is no dot... :-)

Problem with *.* mask

It seems to me that winscp will download all files in a given folder when the mask is specified as *.* . I just want to download the files with some kind of an extension but don't want to download the ones w/o one. Using the *.* mask I will get both(even tho the file w/o an extension doesn't hava a . in
it's name) :roll:
I'm using winscp version 3.8.2
