Hi Prikryl,

I'm using OpenSSH so that can be the problem.

Do you know which app I better can use with SFTP-4?

Kind Regards,

Arie

Re: Changing group and owner with SFTP

WinSCP supports SFTP-4. Also this has nothing to do with Apache. It is about your SSH/SFTP server. I'm afraid that you are using OpenSSH and there's no update for OpenSSH to SFTP-4.

Changing group and owner with SFTP

Hello,

I'm using WinSCP 4.0 and I'm trying to change ownership of some files on my own webserver.
I log in with SFTP but when I go to the properties, the options are grey.
I red that I must use SFTP-4 for changing the ownership but when I look at the Server and Protocol information I see that I now use SFTP-3.

How can I install SFTP-4 in WinSCP or can I change something on my Apache?

Kind regards,

Arie
