Re: Fixed in 4.0.5?

Was anything changed in 4.0.5 that would fix the hidden folder problem (I didn't see anything in the "what's new" list that looked relevant)?

We no longer see the problem with WinSCP 4.0.5, but we do still see the problem with FileZilla so I was wondering if something changed in WinSCP.

In any case, we're happy to see our folders now!

I'm not aware of any such fix :-)

Re: Hidden folder status after transfer to Novell file server

Hi. Good suggestion. The same thing happens with Filezilla.

Thanks for the quick response.

Re: Hidden folder status after transfer to Novell file server

Does it happen with other SFTP clients? It can also be bug (or feature) of the server.

Hidden folder status after transfer to Novell file server

I've noticed than when I upload a folder from my Windows XP machine to a Novell file server, the folders are "dim" when I view them on the Novell server and they have a "hidden" attribute when I look at the folder properties. This occurs in both 3.8.2 and 4.0.2.

Any idea why this happens and how to prevent it?

Thanks
