Re: Suggestion: detect and complain about overlapping transfers

OK, that would be nice, but I do not give it a priority though, sorry :-)

Suggestion: detect and complain about overlapping transfers

A great feature of WinSCP is the ability to queue up a number of transfers. However, this leads to the possibility of having several transfers operating on the same section of the directory structure at the same time. Yes, this is operator error (not that I would ever do it!), but it would make WinSCP more user-friendly.

Let's say that there are transfers in progress rooted in directories X, Y and Z. If the user asks to do a new transfer rooted in directory Q, and Q contains, is, or is contained by any of X, Y or Z, then WinSCP should complain that there's a conflicting transfer already in progress.

Thanks,
Dan
