WOW
I've just noticed how old this post really is.. Wonder why I have the same problem with WindowsXP up2date and the latest WinSCP...

Oh well

Weird, but I've encountered the same problem, and I'm running WinSCP aswell... I've seen this happen even with WinSCP off, so shouldn't be WinSCP-related...

It's just weird ain't it?? Besides, I wanted to test my wireless network to see if the same happens, and I can't get an IP from the AP, although other computers get it :S

This kinda sucks :(((

PS: If you find a solution, care to update me on it at einztein _at_ gmail! Thanks

Network Stops Responding

I'm new to WinSCP. Last night I was using it to transfer some files and periodically (at random intervals), I would get an error saying the remote computer hadn't responded in 15 seconds. Then I'd notice Firefox and Gaim would stop working as well. If I disabled and re-enabled my ethernet adapter, all my internet related software would work again. Any suggestions? It's really an annoying problem. I'm running WinSCP 3.8 on Windows XP Professional.
