Most probably you are not an owner of the file, hence you do not have permissions to change its timestamp and/or permissions.

Timestamp or permissions error

When I edit and save a file I get an error that states my upload was successful but either the permissions or timestamp failed. When I look at the file on the server it will still have the old timestamp, even though the edit change was saved.

Re: WinSCP doesn't show correct timestamp

FAR plugin does not have a "preserve timestamp" option yet.

Changing the "Session|Environment|Server adjusts DST" setting in WinSCP's FAR plug-in seems to affect only setting the right timestamp for edited files.
It still displays it as +1 hour.

FAR's FTP plug-in, though, sets and displays timestamps correctly.

My Windows system (Windows XP) sets the correct timestamp too.

WinSCP versions I tried: 1.4.2 & 1.5.1 - having the same issue
Unix: AIX 5.3
Windows: Windows XP SP2

WinSCP doesn't show correct timestamp

Hi all,

Whenever I transfer a file to my server. WinSCP doesn't display the correct timestamp (date is correct though). The time that it displays is always 1 hour ahead.

When I log in my server and do a "ls -al", it shows me the correct date and time.

How to rectify/patch this? Any help/hint is appreciated. :D
