Thanks for your response! Since I already have a private key file in an encrypted format, is it possible to convert this back to unencrypted format? Or do I need to generate the public and private keys again?

If you do not care about security, you can store the key unencrypted (without passphrase).

Hey,
Is it possible to start Pageant from command line? I need to specify an encrypted key file and use a password phrase. Right now, I can start Pageant but it always prompts for the password phrase the very first time. Although, I know it is a security risk, I would still like to know if if pageant can be stared from command line without being promped for password.
