That depends on your router, and you haven't said what that is. It may be easier to use one of the keepalive options within WinSCP to prevent the connection from appearing idle (and hence prevent it from being dropped by the router).

with my previous router i used to connect to a server and the connection was always on, meaning that even after hours of idle the connection was still there waiting for use.

now i changed my router and the connection lives just minutes if i dont use it.

does anyone know if there is any setup option that i should apply on my router to avoid disconnection?
