Re: Switching from FTP to WinSCP

IFAIK Putty does not support FTP. There are two transfer programs in Putty's package: PSCP (SCP and SFTP client) and PSFTP (SFTP-only client).

What exactly is your problem with WinSCP?

Switching from FTP to WinSCP

Hi,
I was using putty to load my website images via my FTP server. My Webserver says that they have updated and I must now use WinSCP. I have downloaded the WinSCP. When I try to update my website, I cannot figure out how to transfer my files using the WinSCP instead of the FTP. Do I still use Putty, since WinSCP seems to do the same thing? I am confused.
Thank you.
