Ok, I've missed your second post, so you have found it yourself ;-)
martin

OK, I see. It is the "#cd .." line. The hash must be followed by space: "# cd ...".

sorry ! ;) and thanks for you help!
rgbgerman

hi,

okay, i didnt use exit in the script, and here is the output, all looks fine to me:

the black part in the middle is just the comparing of the directories.
i hope the "german" text is not a problem ;)

the last line says "unknown command #exit" but i think this is just a syntax failure
because of a missing whitespace.....
martin

Script looks fine.

You have two options:
1) execute winscp.com and redirect it to file:
C:\Programme\WinSCP\WinSCP.com /log=logfile.log /console /script=script.txt > capture.log
2) remove exit command from the script, so that the window is not closed immediatelly.

at the end, you can see, there it says:

< 2008-06-12 12:21:38.015 Status/error code: 1

maybe it has something to do with the command

It just says that the directory listing has reached the end.
rgbgerman

sorry ;-)

here is another part of the logfile:

Listing directory "/home/backup"

thank you....
martin

I've meant the script (script.txt), not the batch file.
Also the output of the script (e.g. screen capture) may help.
rgbgerman

hi,

here is my script:

C:\Programme\WinSCP\WinSCP.exe /log=logfile.log /console /script=script.txt

if errorlevel 1 goto error

echo Success
E:\BIN\sendmail.exe -t < E:\WinSCP\ok_mail
goto end

:error
echo Error!
E:\BIN\sendmail.exe -t < E:\WinSCP\failed_mail

:end

and i always get errorlevel 1 ;-((
martin

OK, can you post an output of the script and the script itself?
rgbgerman

hi,

the exit code of winscp is 1, because i have a windows .bat file, which checks this and in case of erros (exit code 1) i get a email.
martin

Re: Result code 1 after synchronize without doing anything

Do you mean the exit code of winscp process is 1, or do you just refer to the code in the log?
rgbgerman

Result code 1 after synchronize without doing anything

hi there,

i use 4.1.3 build 393.

i made a script, for sync local and remote.
when both parties are equal, the winscp return with error code 1.
the logfile says in the last lines:

1) i cannot see why error code 1
2) shouldnt it be error code 0, because there is nothing to do ???

any idea ????
