Re: Stripping CTL-Z tags at the end of a DOS file

Currently, it is not possible. However it is good idea. I'll add it to next release.

Stripping CTL-Z tags at the end of a DOS file

Hi there,

Up till recently we used a ftp client program, (to transfer from w2k to sun) which was able to strip the CTL-Z tag at the end of a DOS text file.
This because the import program at the Sun machine doesn't understand CTL-Z and interpretes it as an empty record.
We are now using your great program and i was wondering wether there is such an option. I searched and used both bin as text as transfer mode but it didn't work...Thanx in advance and keep up the good work
