No worries - only reporting what I see. Thats using eTrust by the way, and I havent seen it flag up stuff like this previously.

Think i`ll stick to the earlier version for now.

Thanks anyway

Re: Executable infected with Adclicker.JO ?

I doubt about it. It is definitely not intentional. And no one else have ever reported this, although 4.1.6 is out few months already.

In addition - v4.1.5 is fine.

Just to double check it wasnt my virus checker false-alarming, I downloaded v4.1.5 and it didnt flag and issues at all.

Lets hope 4.1.6. has not turned to the dark side  , as its an excellent tool.

Thanks,

Executable infected with Adclicker.JO ?

Hi,

I just downloaded the .exe of the brilliant WinSCP, but my virus checker informed me that Winscp416setup[1].exe (still in IE cache at this stage) was infected with Adclicker.JO.

Please can this file be checked and cleaned? I dont want to install it in its current state.

https://winscp.net/download/winscp416setup.exe/download

This is a newly installed laptop by the way.

Thanks,
Fraser
