OK, can you check the INI file if it contains any section with name like [Sessions/...]?
You can also check the registry, maybe you have actually used registry before and somehow accidentally get INI file with no sessions.

Disaster kinda averted. I still had a couple sessions open when the issue happened, and which I disconnected from any of those sessions, I still had my list of saved sessions. Without closing, I went back through, editing each and saving (with no changes). After that, I reopened another instance of winscp and all the sessions were there.

After that, I made sure to backup the file, then I switched to using the registry instead of ini. I think I am also using an older version 4.0.4 Build 346. May have to look into an upgrade.

Cheers!

This just happened to me too. Everything was working fine this morning, and I've been using Google Chrome for a while now, so I know it isn't that (although I just switched back to FF as my primary browser an hour ago).

Anyway, I'm still not convinced that it has anything to do with Chrome.

Prefs show I was using the INI file though. Hrmmm

Re: Losing Saved Sessions

Were you using INI file or Registry for configuration?

Losing Saved Sessions

I version winscp405 on my pc. I recently downloaded Google Chrome and now all my saved sessions are gone (approximately 30) I do not know if these events are related or if there is a way to retrieve my saved sessions. Any thoughts?
