Re: Changing File Ownership

You need to have server that supports at least version 4 of the SFTP protocol to make it work. Please read documentation.

Changing File Ownership

I'm using WinSCP 4.1.6(build 412). If I'm logged in as root user and right click a file and select properties, the ownership dropdown and the group dropdown are greyed out. The FAQ's say this is due to the protocol not supporting a change. But I believe the session I'm using is a secure SFTP connection (how can I check)?
