No sorry, not possible, it's a production system, not controlled by me.
I don't know if it is replroducible on any ProFTPD system, maybe it is.
Or if you really want you might be able to contact the server operators, https://www.limelight.com/

May I have a test account on your server?

Very slow FTP compared to other clients

Hi!

First of all, thanks for bringing us a very useful application.
It's actually so useful that I stopped using all other file transfer clients because I can do everything with WinSCP!

One thing that has been bugging me is that when using WinSCP to upload large files using unencrypted ordinary FTP to a CDN provider, the transfer speeds are quite slow. For a long time I thought that was due to the CDN provider having a slow input link.

That is, until yesterday when I discovered that if I do exactly the same transfer , same file from the same computer, using FileZilla, the throughput is about four times (4x) higher

(And yes, I did read the FAQ about slow speed but does not apply here: unencrypted protocol, identical computers and connection)

The CDN is running the ProFTPD 1.3.1 server.

I am using 4.1.8 under WinXP, both 32 and 64 bit client computers.
