directory focus problem (commander)

Hi, by using commander interface with keyboard, I have some trouble with directory focus. If you are used to file commanders, you will probably know instantly what behaviour I am missing.
Each time after I enter the directory and go back (enter or click on ".."), program focuses on ".." in parent directory, not on parent directory itself. Example:

Directory "food"

..
fruits
vegetables
cakes

click on "cakes"
click on ".." in "cakes"
--> focus is on ".." not on "cakes"

this could be fine on 3 items per directory, as in this example, but how about tens of directories, or hundreds? If you are traversing the directories, or entered some directory by mistake, you have to find it again, not speaking about loosing the eye focus all the time.

I have tried with Ctrl-Left, different configuration checkboxes, but nothing happened. Maybe there is some configuration option that I am missing?
