Re: Host does not exist

Then it seems to be a firewall issue. Please read FAQ.

BTW, I'm not sure what documentation did you follow. However caching of host key can hardly help you.

Trying to connect to
claims.ncmedicaid.com port 22 with a specific userid and password.

This is a USA, North Carolina government web site for processing Medicaid claims. I am a software vendor who has installed winSCP3 to about 60 client sites and it is working successfully from all of them. This one computer is having a problem.

Host does not exist

I am currently using version 3.7.6 (Build 306)
Yesterday I starting getting a Host does not exist error message. I followed the documented solution
choose TOOLS, select Cache host keys. This worked the next two times the product was used.

Not it will not work , even when using the above solution several times.

I then upgraded to the current release 4.1.8, and received the same message.

Following other ideas, I removed WinSCP from windows firewall settings and added it back. Still no luck.

I then used Add Remove Programs and removed WinSCP and installed it again. This allowed use of the software one time.

Now I am back to getting the Host does not exist error.
Any help would be appreciated.

Using Windows XP SP3

Thanks for any help in advance.
