Re: I have no undo (Ctrl Z doesn't work)

I cannot reproduce the issue. Let me know if it ever happens again.

I'll try that. Thanks.

Re: I have no undo (Ctrl Z doesn't work)

Well, I noticed that in my other browser window I had to do the same thing, use the Undo from the icon one time before it would work with the keyboard shortcuts.

You might be able to reproduce this by installing WinSCP on a system that never had it installed before. Configure it to a server where your web files are located, open a file and edit it, then try to use CrtZ to undo your edit.

I was using a new Dell Latitude with WinXP Pro set up on my client's network. This shouldn't matter, but they use AOL web server, Open ACS and TCL. I use WinSCP to edit the .tcl and .adp files that constitute a single web page directly on their server. Most of the other developers use Putty or Emax editor.

Hm, that's strange. If it ever happens again, please let me know.

Re: I have no undo (Ctrl Z doesn't work)

I've never used the toolbar icon before, so didn't know it existed. I just checked it and it works (I prefer the keyboard shortcut) it is so much faster when you are typing along than having to stop and use the mouse. - I also just noticed that now after using it once on the toolbar I can use the Ctrl Z short key an dit works.

Re: I have no undo (Ctrl Z doesn't work)

Only the shortcut does not work or undo altogether? Is the toolbar button disabled all the time or is it enabled but does nothing?

I have no undo (Ctrl Z doesn't work)

I've been using WinSCP for over a year now. My old computer died and I had to re-install WinSPC on a new system a few days ago. I downloaded the latest version 4.1.8 (Build 415). It was pain that the old version only allowed one (Ctrl Z) to undo, but now I cannot undo at all. I looked through to forum to see if this problem was previously reported but did not see it. I've searched the preferences to see if there a place to turn on or off this ability, but couldn't find anything. Please I need at the very least the abilty to undo once. Can anyone help?
