Fixed.

Apparently I didn't have the startup directory properly set up.

Thanks.

Relative paths are relative to WinSCP startup directory.

Winscp Portable problem - help please

Hi all,

I'm using Winscp portable (or the non-installable one) by running it directly from an external HD.

What I need is to have an external editor (Notepad++ for example) to run when I double-click any text file for example.
I can have it working but only with an exact path to the notepad++ executable which is also on the HD.

Now this means every time I change the PC a drive letter is assigned to the HD, so I have to change the settings of the external editor ever time.

Question: Do relative paths work when setting up an external editor from winscp and if so, how do I know the directory I actually start from.
