There are many social bookmark sites where you go and there is an option of drag their button to your toolbar, next time you can bookmark on that site by just clicking on that button

OK, I haven't seen bookmark service that wouldn't ask you for confirmation of adding the bookmarks, for bookmark name or folder before actually adding the bookmark.

I think there should be a bookmark menu item like in a web browser. It would eliminate extra mouse clicks.

What extra mouse clicks?

Hi all, just having an idea about bookmarks, not sure if its already in the software but anyway: place a bookmarks icon on the toolbar with drop-down list with all bookmarks (similar to the "View" icon) or may be add a dropdown list to the "Open" icon besides the address bar (in Explorer interface).

What advantage would this have comparing to present approach?

May be introduce a keyboard shortcut for each bookmark like: Ctr+1 (Bookmark #1), Ctrl+2(Bookmark #2), ....?
