Re: WeFI adware in WinSCP installer

Well if WinSCP was to install malware, it would make it obvious by displaying ads, wouldn't it?

WeFI adware in WinSCP installer

I'm discouraged to see adware (for WeFi) in the 4.2.2 beta WinSCP installer.
Ive had bad experiences with software advertised in installers in the past and have heard stories of this action being linked with malware.

Usually when I see that sort of advert I stop using the package I had intended to install; this makes me reconsider whether to continue using WinSCP.

At least you are advertising an open-source package.
